Rail Depot Solutions (RDS) provides a complete maintenance service for rail depots which includes the care and repair of carriage wash equipment, CET, depot plant maintenance and, perhaps more importantly, adaptions and alterations to existing equipment. We have an enviable level of knowledge and expertise within the rail industry that allows us to deliver and surpass the service levels of service provided by our competitors. Our engineers are PTS certified, which allows them to work alongside the depot teams or entirely independently on a full range of depot equipment maintenance services and attend call outs throughout the UK.

The broad range of services we offer include the maintenance of both manual and automatic CET systems, tanking water points, carriage wash equipment, refuelling, lubrication and cooling systems. We also offer a full range of maintenance services with the provision of a maintenance schedule which is specific to the plant design, location and performance and also exceeds the network rail standard. RDS also provides a range of maintenance packages tailored to the individual customers’ needs, ranging from from annual inspections and reactive callouts to fully inclusive maintenance and breakdown contracts.

To cater for changes to rolling stock and quantities of carriages per set, we can carry out adaptions and alterations to Trainwashes, CET's, tanking and fuelling installations to ensure that train cleaning and fluid removal and replenishing is at its optimum and tripping hazards from trailing hoses are kept to a minimum.
